Redemption

It’s not often we see each other. You have your life, with your loved one, your children, your job and your interests. I have my life, as fulfilling and good as yours. When we see each other, we’re nothing but friends, at least on the outside. What the others can see are two good friends who have known each other for years. We talk easily, laugh at the same things, flirt innocently and have great self-irony. We play our roles well.
