The way you spend also influences the climate. But how do you deal with money more sustainably? Three tips that already make a world of difference.

You probably drink water from a refillable bottle instead of a plastic bottle, you eat less meat and you separate your waste, because sustainability is important to you. But have you ever thought about where your money is going? That has more impact on the planet than you might think.

Sustainability and money

What applies to your savings account also applies to the fight against climate change: every little bit is a bonus. Do your bit against global warming by taking sustainability into account in your finances.

1. Switch to a green bank

You may not think about it, but your bank invests your savings. Don’t want your money invested in things like arms trade and fossil fuels? Then it is best to switch to a so-called green bank.

In the Fair Bank Guide , a comparison tool from Amnesty International and Milieudefensie, among others, you can see how your current bank and other banks score in the field of climate change, human rights, weapons and twelve other areas.

2. Invest sustainably
